When there’s resistance, there’s always an easy way. A way to avoid big challenges. In this very special year many events have tried & failed, others didn’t even attempt. But then there’s the Italian way. No matter how big the challenges, these „combattantes“ will face them and with pride and dedication find a way to solve them. Of course they do. So while few have believed they would actually be able to pull it off, RallyLegend 2020 will take place, and will involve the passionate fans that made this event so special.
When the hills of Monte Titano tremble in the sounds of Rallying’s finest, enthusiasts can’t resist the urge to head to La Serenissima for their ultimate blend of rallying‘s history & state of the art machinery.
Miki Biasion, Ari Vatanen, Francois Delecour & Franco Cunico have already been announced along with Frank Kelly, „Lucky“ Battistolli, Piero Longhi and local hero Paolo Diana in his Furious Fiat Rally 131. M-Sport Ford will showcase the mesmerising performance of its current Ford Fiesta RS WRC Plus World Rally Car piloted by their WRC 2 works driver Adrien Fourmaux since Esapekka Lappi & Teemu Suninen are under quarantine following the latest WRC event in Turkey. While further details are yet to be expected the entry-list to RallyLegend always resembles the hall of fame of rallying and truly is a celebration of the sport. From 1st to 3rd of October the beautiful island of San Marino will light the candle of Rallying in dark times of the pandemic.
We have had the pleasure of experiencing the lovely madness that’s Rallylegend many times during the last years and it has instantly become an event that manifested itself as a must deep in our hearts. The whole package of cars, drivers, beautiful countryside and mesmerizing atmosphere burned deep into our memory and left us wanting more the minute we stepped into our car for the 1.100 km trip back home. The time capsule that’s Rallylegend takes you back to a time when rallying was exciting, fun and simply a huge party for everyone involved. And we’re certain this will, even under strict COVID-19 regulations, once again be the case.
